Afterhours

Hello! Yes I know that I have not updated in a while and no I have not dissapeared into the atmosphere like my chips on a poker table or nothing but I do happen to have a busy 925 so it's not as easy to update my blog as much as I want. Anyway moving along it's been quite a busy coupla weekends and I have been there to do the necessary documentation of the events.

It doesn't really matter whether the glass is half emtpy or full, all that matters is what your're drinking right?!

Bumped into Tracy love, who competed in the miss HK uni thingy. I dont know what they were putting in the drinks that night but look at Ed! If it makes you look like this then I dont want any. HAHA!

Ed on his grass cutting ways... after serveral rounds of course!

What going on in this place. Someone's put the shit on us fella's. Have I stepped into the twilight zone or what?

I really needed to get some rest, so I went home. Had to go through detours so I don't run into rbts but came across this! Damn cargo train was so long, I nearly slept behind the wheel!
Anyways

I was able to get 3 hours sleep, shower and a new change of clothes. Got out of the house to a beautiful day...

See... beautiful day!

Took my dogs out

So met up with Vanessa and Joe to catch up. Joined them for lunch back at Vanessas house which was great coz her mum still cooks the best food! Left and then celebrated with dinner for my dads birthday and then made my way to Anna's place to join the festivities of her 21st.

Anna making her wish.

Beer, Wine & Spirits, Pizza too!

Yup... The rock 'n roll lifestyle continues on... and on. So like check this, I was like chilling at work right. You know, like you do. And like I go and I check my mails and shit. I'm thinking to myslef and say to Gucci, we really need to get some drinks!

So we gathered the family and migrated to Lara's...

So eventually I got a coupla drinks in me and then it was aight. A cool bunch of people all round. True! I had a blast!

We ordered pizza and since we had no room on the alcohol filled table we rested them all on the sun baking chair.

Finger lickn good I tell you!

Arthur had that song, "smack that" on his mind all day!

This what happens when you smoke too much peoples!

And we all got even more twisted. I think things from this point all became a blur. Look at me eyes, you can tell I'm a gonner huh? HAHAHA!! Have a look at Adriana... that's a classic dirty! Poor thing wanted to be in with the grins.

Brett giving us some tunes

Cats where everywhere!! Couldn't get away from them all so went...

And Roger was doing his thing... you know making music and creating that party atmosphere

Marze joins in on the action

Anyways, so after I got COMPLETY FUCKEN SMASHED I ended up driving my 0.03 blood alcohol concentrated ass to Star City to meet the fella's. Where I made some cash but donated it to the boys to only phukn lose it in poker.

Sydney city skyline... innit gorgeous?

Never Win?

Mo 20Nov06

Josephine arrived in Sydney again at 10pm so I went straight to Star City after work instead of going home, since shes staying at the Novetel. It was a good thing I went to Star coz I was raking it in. It was magic, I had never won so many consecutive hands before! Anyways got the call from the boys seeing whats happening. They were down at Maloneys, so I left and met them...

Had meself a few of these! Mmm see those froth, I bet those icicles just wanna make you want one. I;m sure you can almost taste it in your mouth can't you?

Played several games of pool to really see whos got an eye of a hawk

And of course the boys favourite... the pokies! At this point everyone wanted to puch Ya's buttons! We just wanted to stres him out! We then decided to go to Star City and make some serious cha ching. Since I had won earlier I gave them money to play. I sat back on the blackjack tables, and the others played poker. I got the call from Josephine so I left the casino for while. Chilled and relaxed at the hotel and then we decided to up with the boys. Well I continued my run with luck and came out on top again, while Ed lost, Farmer lost, Kinson won quite a bit and Ya, forget about it!

So we went to Golden Century at like 3 inna morning and had a banquet! Look at Ya, all jolly and feasting. Little did he know I was gona make him wash the dishes! Nah its hard being a loser... I wouldn't do that to him.

Coogee

Decided to head to the beach last weekend to catch up with the trashbags. We relaxed a bit but winter reminded us that it was still around so we packed up early.

Beer is Good for You

I'm forcing down few beers a day, but it turns out, far from giving myself a beer belly, I might actually be doing myself some good. You see, there's a chemical in beer called xanthohumol that researchers now believe helps fight both heart disease and some cancers.

... so I'll drink to that

Medicins Sans Frontieres

That's right... give kindly and be one that actually makes a difference in the world we live in!

I have been a field partner with MSF for a year now, and only recently learnt about what I have been supporting. Anyways, I was invited to a MSF function at the Seymore Theatre last Tuesday night and mingled with different people from all walks of life. It actually made me feel good about myself, that I am apart of this organisation. And believe me its not because of the free flowing alcohol that was being served.
Commonly known as Doctors Without Borders, teams are currently in 70 countries, working with more than 15,000 locally recruited staff in conditions that are always challenging, sometimes dangerous.
We provide relief after natural disasters such as floods or earthquakes. We help casualties of war. We run emergency feeding centres during famines. We fight disease and organise mass vaccination programmes to prevent epidemics spreading. We are also involved in long-term health projects such as training local medical staff and putting in place safe drinking water and sanitation facilities.
You can donate by clicking on the logos above... trust me, it will make you feel much better about yourself. Remember, give sometimes!

Dinner with the Shananigans

Was actually quite a timid week if I say so myself. I've been having a lot of those lately. Didnt really get up to much though but nonetheless it was quite cool. And dont you worry, all I'm doing is getting the liver ready for the weekend that's all.

Anyways...

After long day at work, Gucci and Kat organised to eat out... so we gave Marze a call and made her meet up with us at the lighthouse.

Then made our jolly way to Balmain to some pizza place.

Foods out!

End of the night...
