Good news... means celebrations!

Recieved great news today... so took the day to relax and enjoy the festivities. Well today is Dragon Boat Festival public holiday here in HK.

Met up with Danny at Aberdeen, where all the celebrations were. It's dam hot here and was so sunny but that didnt stop us... I'm sorta getting use to it here!

Anyways we got to watch people paddle. Was a great day actually, coz it was packed and the crowd was good for my eyes... need to keep them healthy right?

Someohow we wanted to watch the races from there!

One of the dragon boats on show, so kiddies can jump in and play around. If only Dan took photos of me in it... but that kid couldnt resist joining in on the action!
Oh! going to stop writing and go swim in the pool now!

Anyways I am looking after myself... and I have been spending a lot... on yum cha with grandparents. Have a big day coming monday... so will have a quiet weekend. If things go well, I'll have a big monday night aye!

Visiting Relatives!

At my grandparents place and relaxing. I am sorta getting tired of yum cha... nah not really, but maybe need a change. Anyways I told you guys how good my grandma was at columns, here's a photo of her playing...

In the afternoon went down to the streets to buy some groceries and stoped at a cafe for some sweets... was seriously craving! Mine was mango pudding... por por had black sesame something... i think!?

And then stopped at the markets to get prawns... I felt like prawns, and Jen-i likes prawns... so eating it made me happy aye!

Daniel's B'day @ Lan Kwai Fong

Besides the shitty weather and the rain, we had an awesome night celebrating Daniel san's birthday! And where party central is... LKF

Normally the night starts out pretty quietly, everybody is behaved and appropriately drinking. Then out of the blue these bunch of girls rock up on the street!

Bunch of fine ass bunnies giving free hugs to promote a new tv station just for men. I was in line...no wasting time lining up at the bar!

All the gwai lo's on the street went ballistic i tell ya! Can't blame them... we all human right?

Here's me, the birthday boy and David. Okay everybody say it with me now... Happy Birthday... bottoms up! We stayed at Solas for a while for few beers and a flamming lamborgini... we were pretty much all wasted at this point in time.

Then we continued our night at Club 9, a premier joint in central.


Keeping it gangsta... hk style! Daniel's actually trying to hold in his dinner... didnt know it only took several drinks! Ha!

This was at a bar in LKF... just went in to get free drinks and listen to cool live band... see the background? cool init? And coz there were alot of girls!

Back in Hong Kong and found time to go out and meet up with Siu Wah, his girlfriend Carol, and also Dan the stallion.

Daniel san has moved to Hong Kong temporarily, and found work for some finance company. He is set with a nice crib in Aberdeen. So this is the place to be after long night out... and its great coz across the road, you can get HK$10 chow mien from the ol por! Siu Wah and Carol now working for the HK government, so I guess I'm pretty much set here!

Anyways... Let me document on the night out...

HK$220 for all you can drink... not even bothered to bargain any further! We was at some bar on the 21st level of some high rise in Causeway Bay. It was alright, the atmosphere was good, people I was with was all that mattered... but Daniel san was dissapointed with the lack in women in the bar. That didn't stop us tho... feel the vibe?

After good night of catching up... we decided to stop having fun and take our broke asses home. I crashed at Dan's crib... so we caught the N72 night ride back to his... got some congee to eat and then went to sleep... on separate beds.
