That photo above is of Wewak Hill, where I grew up half my life. I miss living in Papua New Guinea! My dad was born in PNG and his family migrated their because of the Wars... I think..?
Anyways, life up there was the best. It was complete... freedom. Like most places around the world the town we lived in, asians mainly controlled all the businesses. In PNG there are a lot to do, and even school was fun! During lunch, we would go home to eat, after school we would go play at the beach, go fishing, go to the caves, do sports, and sometimes help dad at the shop. Every weekend we all use to go on boat trips and go to islands. The best was playing 'BANG' in our bulkstore.
I moved to Sydney in 1991 to start a proper education... damn education! In PNG you don't have to worry about anything... and can do whatever you want! but the local girls aren't too good.
