Its 9/11 today! So full respects to the victims and their family. Anyways, went with relatives to Macau on Wednesday 6th Sept. I heard of Macau becoming like Las Vegas, so I was very eager to go. Its about a hours boat trip from Hong Kong Island. We went on this jet boat... seriously flies!
When it reaches top speed the actual boat rises from the water as if its gliding, this coz of the fins on the bottom making it more aerodynamic and stuff like that... And look at the bridge in the background! Beejeeesus!

Look at it! I have no idea where that leads to, wish to the front of my house. Anyways, fresh off the boat and we were on the road to find some cha ching!$!$!

First casino we went to was for the royal family of sumting cause everything was made out of gold. Here is photo of the foyer...
Dazzling isn't it?
Oh, and remember to wipe the shit under your shoes on the gold!
That's right, its 99.99% pure gold I'm walking on

There are 5 levels of gaming in this casino and the first three consists of only baccarat tables. Chinese people love their baccarat, coz its pretty much 50/50. Its pretty cool coz they deal the cards face down, and the players betting the most gets to open the cards. They bend the shit out of it, fold it, even rip the damn cards!I went further up to watch blackjack and it was the same thing. Was insane!
Left this casino without gambling and eating cause there's way better food on the streets. So we left and did little site seeing.
Oh! Woman in the way...
As you can see, it doesn't really look like an asian city, that's because before Macau was handed back to China, it was run by the Portugese. Hmm... some history lesson for you!
Can you feel that western influence?

Went into this little restuarant to have a light meal.

Mmmmm... wonton noodles!
A lot of students on the streets coz school just finished... ok there's only two ere.
Visited the remains of this old church, which is very famous I think...that's why there are heaps of tourists taking photos here. Well, thats why I took a pic of it.
Had to have some ice cream coz it looked at me and said...'come eat me!!' I ravaged it.

Stopped to have another drink before heading towards our next destination. Mixed fruit in watermelon juice.

This casino is called the Greek Mythology. Very nice five star hotel with a ginormous gaming area. Whats also good is that they have live shows, including foreign acts from Broadway, which kept me well entertained during my stay there. Left a couple grand richer from this very generous household.

Wait a minute, look at whats being built! Here's a closer look...

Too bad Packer isn't around to see his masterpiece open

Saw these two ladybirds... wanted to put my arms around them but couldn't think quick enuff, hence my pose. Damn! I look gay!
The next casino we went to was Wynn Casino. It was packed full of people because it had just opened the night before and everyone wanted to lay their greasy yellow asian hands on the tables! This casino was pawow!! muthaf*#kn huuge!! Plenty of branded outlets inside, restuarants, and hell a lot of baccarat tables! Look below... its the great wall!

Front entrance into Wynn

Planned to stay in this casino for only two hours. We all split up to do our own thing and agreed to meet at the main cashier at 5:30pm... once we met up again each agreed to shout for dinner coz we all had won. So we left to find somewhere nice for dindin.
That looks like centr...
Back on the streets for dinner. Went to a busy place to eat drunken prawns. We ordered this box below...
Satisfied... and on the way to the next casino.

This casino was packed full of people. There are so many casinos here and they are all packed! Chinese people and gambling... shiet!! This casino is building another one right next to it, which is going to open next year. This one is apparently going to be a six star hotel... pretty impressive if you ask me!!

And to the next casino...
Emperors Casino
UFOs?
We thought we quicky go to another casino for couple hours before we leave. We went to Sands Casino, which was opened last year. So I discretely took a photo inside, just to show how huge inside is. On top of this roof thing is a huge screen, like the ones you see at hoyts. And that room on the top right is the board room that overlooks this whole floor. On the bottom there is a huge stage just behind the bar. There are always performances on and dancers, etc! I sat there for an hour watching :)

We decided to call it a night and leave Macau with more money than what we came here with.
It's this bridge again...?!?

So we were on our way back the Hong Kong... farewell Macau! I'll definately be back!
