Delivery Time

Its D-day for Jeni... and boy I was nervous. Looking at all those medical equipment makes me scared!

And what does that do?
Jeni looking nervous. That machine on the right examines the baby's heartrate as well as Jeni's contractions. Contractions has got to be the most horrible thing ever!
Checking into St George Private Hotel was nice tho. It was very good and had a bed for me too right beside Jeni. Everyone was good there as well. They really look after you when you are there, and for me I just kept eating and drinking. Was like a buffet there.

Jeni doesnt look nervous here... thats coz I bought her a McChicken and nuggets!! The last supper.

Everything is okay until...

BAM!! Mia is born! 6.09Am. This was by far the best experience of my life. It was hard to see Jeni go through all the pain and suffering, but she held it together and was so strong. Made me realy proud! She was in labour for 13 grueling hours taking in the gas all throughout that period. She had 2 out of body experience, which was funny coz the times she looked like passing out she snapped and said to me twice... "I saw you, I saw you!" I thought it was funny... not at that time tho. She said no to epidural, and I was like are you sure you can stand the pain!??! And she did it all natural. Very brave!

Jeni getting to hold Mia first! What a proud mum!

Mia weighing in at 3.1kg and 51cm tall. Power forward!
